Experience
I have more than 3 years of tutoring experience with students from the States, France, Israel, the UK and all around the world. I take pride in both my grammar teaching method and my unique way of making recognizing/writing Chinese word characters - traditional and simplified- easy and simple, which are what most students find intimidating when learning Chinese. My experience as a tour guide and my educational background equipped me with the ability to teach not only the language itself but also the culture. Besides normal Chinese lessons, I also give Chinese writing lessons and premodern Chinese lessons. As a Taiwanese who studied Chinese Literature in a Normal University, I have proficiency in reading and teaching premodern and traditional Chinese. These might come in handy if you're a Chinese studies student who's looking for help with his/her university courses. During my job as a research project assistant, I was asked to grade millions of Chinese essays written by foreign learners according to exam official standards. I therefore am well aware of what help students usually needs when learning how to write and how it can be executed.
